Meet the Founder
Essence One was founded in 2016 by a female entrepreneur to bring awareness to mental health and wellness through the creation of all-natural aromatherapy products. Lauren VanScoy created Essence One to share the importance of business with purpose based on a real-life passion and education as an aromatherapist. Her passion and dedication to natural products began after being caught off-guard by anxiety and depression in her mid- thirties.

How long until I receive my order?
Our average processing time is 1-2 weeks. Though we work as hard as we can to fulfill as fast as possible, it doesn't happen immediately after you place your order. Thank you for your patience and for supporting our small business!
You are able to choose faster shipping options at checkout if you need your order urgently and please let your sales rep know your deadline to receive the product. We will do our best to meet that deadline.
My tracking says it's been delivered but I don't have it. What do I do?
Delivery Service: After your order has left our facility, we are no longer in control of the delivery time as it is then in the hands of the delivery service.
It is very common for carriers to scan a package as delivered before they actually deliver it. Give it 2 days or so to arrive in your mailbox before contacting UPS or USPS. If 2-3 days has passed and you still haven't received your package, before calling their customer service, leave a note or speak with your delivery person about the package and give them the tracking information to see if they can help.
How are your products different?
Our products don't contain synthetic ingredients or harmful chemicals. They are formulated with pure essential oils, butters, oils that are gentle on your body and skin. We only use ingredients found in nature known for their efficacy and are grown and designed for our delicate skin and body. Natural ingredients have the ability to deliver even better results than synthetic mainstream commercial skin care products and don't irritate the skin, unless you have a known allergy to a certain ingredient.
Where do you source your essential oils?
All of our essential oils are harvested from their native location making them the purest essential oils available. Our Aromatherapists on staff is able to request the GCMS reports to ensure our oils are truly pure.
Why don't you use DoTerra or Young Living oils?
Though our founder was introduced to aromatherapy via Young Living, she then got certified by an independent aromatherapy school where she was introduced to oil sources known for their 100% pure qualities and don't contain a commission in their prices. The membership agreement from many companies also don't allow you to use their oils in products that you sell for profit.
Are your products vegan?
Almost all of our products are vegan with exception of our deodorant and lip balm, which contains beeswax.
Do you test on animals?
No way, never! Our products are completely cruelty-free.
Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
Our founder has sensitive skin and used to experience breakouts and skin irritations before establishing Essence One. Our products are formulated to work with all skin-types, especially sensitive skin. Because our products are free of harmful cleansers, dyes, synthetic fragrance, and harsh chemicals, they are known for being non-irritating and incredibly soothing for all skin types.
Do you accept returns?
Due the fact that we sell personal care products, there are no refunds and all sales are final. In certain circumstances we are able to approve returns for credit on another product. Please contact us if you have feedback about our products – we love to continue to make improvements.
